Travelling Europe soon? Then you’ll want accommodation that’s cheap but also comfortable. Hostels are the ideal accommodation type in Europe because they are readily available and safe. To help you find a hostel that’s a cut above the rest, we have prepared for you a useful guide below. So without further ado, let’s get into it.
What is a hostel?
Hostels offer low-budget accommodation for travellers. The difference between staying in a hostel as opposed to a hotel is that typically, you will book a bed for the night in a hostel as opposed to a room as you would with a hotel. So, you’ll share a room with other people and the bathrooms are usually dorm-style, so they have changing areas and several showers.
The advantage to staying in a hostel is that the accommodation is cheap. The average price for a bed for a night in a hostel is around £20 but some hostels are even cheaper.
